I first met Garrett after I completed a significant amount of electrical work at his home in Charlton, MA. From the moment I saw his woodworking shop and listened to him talk about his craft, it was immediately clear how passionate, knowledgeable, and detail-oriented he is. I knew then that when my wife and I were ready to tackle our bathroom remodel, Garrett was the person we wanted to work with.
Our second-floor bathroom had been incredibly inefficient for the first ten years we lived in the house. With a family of four, we knew the space needed to be completely rethought and reconfigured, not just cosmetically updated. I sent Garrett a short video explaining what we had in mind, and he quickly turned that into multiple well-thought-out layout options. He walked us through the pros and cons of each design, and together we landed on a plan that works perfectly for our family and the age of the house.
During construction, we decided to remove the original plumbing stack, which uncovered the need to open walls that directly impacted our existing fireplace surround. Coincidentally, upgrading the fireplace had already been on our wish list, and Garrett seamlessly incorporated it into the scope of the project. The transition from one project to two was handled thoughtfully, transparently, and without stress.
Garrett’s work ethic, deep knowledge of trade codes, and attention to detail are truly unmatched. Equally impressive was how clean and organized he was throughout the entire job. He consistently set up temporary plastic walls, used a HEPA vacuum, and controlled dust in every scenario. At the end of each day, he removed his tarps, neatly tucked everything away behind the plastic barriers, and left the space as livable as possible. Thanks to this level of care, we were able to continue our daily routines with minimal disruption while the work was ongoing.
The craftsmanship in both the bathroom and the fireplace surround is outstanding, and the finished spaces exceed our expectations in both function and appearance.
