For this project, we had to squeeze a 12 x 20 ft addition between the house and the garage. This was done by removing the breezeway and the garage roof and building a whole new structure for it to sit within.<\/pre>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

The roof of the garage wouldn’t accommodate the sunroom addition<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The old joists couldn’t support a roof to the sunroom addition<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

We used corner bracing to keep the walls stiff<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

A sextant was used to layout the footing for the addition<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
The color of the footing location depict weight load<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Helical piles were used as footings<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
The helical piles used for footings are rated between 3,000 and 5,000 lbs<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The beams were joined together with a scarf joint to make the 26 ft span<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
