About the Massachusetts ADU Incentive Program<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Massachusetts has launched a statewide initiative to help property owners evaluate and build ADUs. The initiative is a collaboration between the Massachusetts Housing Partnership<\/strong> (MHP<\/a>) and the Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities<\/strong> (HLC<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Massachusetts ADU Incentive Program<\/strong> has subsidized qualified contractors to provide home owners with low-cost ADU – Feasibility Study<\/strong> that assess the conditions of their property and qualify if an ADU can effectively be built. For homeowners who qualify, the Massachusetts Housing Finance Agency<\/strong> (MassHousing<\/a>) has an ADU Loan Program<\/strong> (ADULP<\/a>) that features an amortized loans up to $ 250,000 with a deferred 0% interest match up to a $ 100,000.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
